Travel is a pleasure that most people enjoy, whether it be local or international.  Affords us opportunity to explore the world we live in.  Some years ago my wife and I traveled to the French  Polynesian Island of Tahiti in the South Pacific. It was such a great experience and it has left us with happy memories.

French Polynesia enjoys warm, tropical weather year-round. Cooled by the gentle breezes of the Pacific, the climate of these islands is sunny and pleasant. Because Tahiti and her islands are below the Equator, the seasons are the reverse of those in the Northern Hemisphere.

There are many beaches in Tahiti but far more than simply ‘nice beaches’, the place is erupting with culture and excitement

No one can miss the fun and exhilaration that comes from living in an Overwater Bungalow.

According to the official published Tourist information from where I am drawing some of my remarks in this Blog the overwater bungalows are modelled  on traditional Polynesian fare houses, our stilted overwater bungalows reach out over the lagoon. With roofs woven from pandanus leaves and private jetties that provide direct access to the water, these are considered their most charming and romantic rooms. Simply descend from your bungalow using the bungalow ladder and you'll be in the water!
