ThumbVu - Brand Yourself and Get Your Name Known Online!

Hi,

Have you made a name for yourself online yet? When someone mentions your name to other marketers online, which of the following do you think would be most likely to happen? 1) People would say, "Who is that?" Or 2) People know who you are and would even recognize you if all they saw was your picture.

If the second example is true about you, then you are already doing great with your branding (still read on, though, because I have some awesome ideas that might brand you even more). But ... if the first statement is true, then you definitely need to focus more on getting your name known out there.

I've been thinking a lot about branding lately, and I must say, I think branding is the way to go!

When people know your name, good things happen with your online business:

1) People actually "want" to see what you are involved in online. They can't help themselves. When they see you over and over again, they become curious.

2) Your ads carry more weight. Let's say you join something new, and everyone on the net seems to be advertising it. Once your name is known, try putting "From (your name)" before your ad subject. Your ad instantly becomes more "clickable" than a generic one. Why? Because your name is doing the selling ... not just the subject. I put my name in front of my ads a lot. Since there aren't a lot of Paula's doing that, I just put "From Paula ... (ad subject)".

3) People trust you. I'm not sure why, but just seeing someone online over & over develops a sense of trust -- even if we don't actually know the person. People who hide behind generic emails can be a bit scary. These days, you just never know who to trust, so someone who is seen regularly is likely to be someone who is actually working and making some money.

4) You get free hits to your websites. Once your name is known, you'll get searches without you doing "anything" at all. That's free, passive advertising, and it can happen all day long, everyday of the week. The more you get your name out there, the more searches you will get. Never underestimate the search engines. Nothing is more targeted and effective than someone who is actually looking for you. That is someone who is very likely to buy from you or join something you are involved in.

I do not want to overwhelm you with a huge blog post, but I do want to start seeing your name around. Here are some very easy steps you can take to make sure your name becomes known. It won't happen overnight, but every step you take will bring you closer to your goal.

EASY STEPS TO BRAND YOURSELF AND BECOME KNOWN ONLINE:

1) Grab a domain name with your name. I have the domain https://www.paulafrye.com , and I get visitors there daily (often repeat visitors). Some people come because they are looking for me. Others visit because they are searching something my website happens to be about. Either way, they find me, and that is the important thing. If someone meets me in a forum or anywhere online, all they have to do is search my name.

2) Put your name in ad subjects (like explained above). Make sure your name is seen over & over again.

3) Join a social traffic exchange. These do wonders for building your name fast. Make sure to edit your profile and put your picture in. Without a picture of yourself, you won't get known nearly as fast. Pictures really do the trick. It doesn't matter what you look like, your age, or anything like that. Just find a picture you like of yourself and use it. Don't be shy :-)

Here is my favorite social traffic exchange. I think it works extremely well for branding. ThumbVu -- https://www.thumbvu.com/ref/paulafrye. You can get traffic there for free. However, if you do upgrade, you will have a star that shows on your picture. Having that star makes you look much more serious about what you are doing online. Upgraded members also get one visit to their website for every website they visit. When you surf there, you are actually clicking on members' pictures. That does wonders for causing recognition. As you are starting to recognize members there, you'll know that they are starting to recognize you, too! You'll see what I mean once you start using it. Even if you have to wait awhile to upgrade, keep it in mind. Still use the site and you will get your name known rather quickly.

I have other social traffic exchanges that I like to use (write me at ThumbVu if you want a list of them), but I do not want to overwhelm you with too much. ThumbVu will help you tremendously. It's very easy to use and is effective. It's run by Jon Olson and TimTech, so you know it's got to be a good one.

4) Use splash pages with your picture for everything you can. I love Ad Kreator. Signup free here https://www.adkreator.com/?rid=fryeonline. You can create one splash page with your free account. Upgraded members can have hundreds. It is one membership I simply could not live without. I can create all of the splash pages I want to. They host them, so I don't even need to have a website. If you have run into my sites on a traffic exchange, chances are you've seen one or more of my splash pages. I love making them, and they give me a very good response (plus build my name). One trick I do on my splashes is that I put my name under my picture, then my main website url paulafrye.com under my name. Here is an example of a page where I do that: https://trckrs.com/114038 .

5) Put your full name at the end of every email ad or business email. Make sure people know the email is coming from you. If they see your entire name enough times, they will remember it.

6) Use your name for your username. I use paulafrye as a username at social sites. That way people can find me very easily. Also, when you are in a chat that shows the username (like on some traffic exchanges) your name is seen over and over in chat.

7) Advertise daily. Make sure people see your name every single day -- whether it be on a traffic exchange, in social sites, in ads, or all three. Advertise so much that they see you constantly.

7) Use all of the free social sites. Even if you can't get to them daily, at least get some ads on there. I have come to learn not to underestimate free advertising. A lot of my sales come from free websites. If you want a list of free social sites I use, write me through ThumbVu. There are many very good ones.

I get notes from people all the time who say they can't sell anything at all. My response is always ... "Get out there every single day and advertise. Make people see you so much they get tired of seeing you." :-) It actually works!

I look forward to seeing your ads and websites all over the Internet. I'll definitely be seeing you on ThumbVu!

Take care,
Paula Frye
