Hi Everyone and Welcome,

Recently I put together a small article which refers to Covid-19 and the Pandemic which is sweeping throughout the World.

This initial article covered New York, because it is a well known city and together with references to other areas as they became linked through the grounding of air travel, the cancellation of cruises which witnessed the boats tied to the wharves, and where local populations were being encouraged to holiday at home (inside their borders).

The tourism industries, airlines and public shipping companies have all taken a big hit in their incomes and for some it meant very quick closure as their margins were obviously very thin. The remaining businesses are hanging on for any opening they may be able to use to finally start to make an income again.

This also affects the workers and associated industries, the suppliers of food and drinks, fuel, laundry, maintenance personell for the ships/planes/rail  and for their computers and engines.

Because of the loss of life, border closures, lockdowns, wearing of masks in public and other things associated with the Covid-19 Statistics New York 2021 many people were becoming frustrated and angry. We could probably say they were angry about restrictions because there was not a proper understanding about why they had to have them.

Now that Brazil is beginning to frighten everyone with an alarming daily death rate, we all beginning to understand why we should wear masks for certain lenghts of time just to make sure we are in the clear. (If this position really exists). Apparently young people are also passing away with the Covid-19 strain that Brazil currently has. So it is not just the elderly who are worried now, but also younger people as well.

According to Health Authorities, one vaccination may not be enough to say you are in the clear, as we have seen some people contract the disease again after being vaccinated. Then there are the bad strains (mutated they say) that sneak in from overseas and these are the frightening ones. 

The public are becoming more concerned about the types of Vaccine being administered as some people are contracting blood clots from them and one person has passed away in Australia recently from this. So now we have the population worried about whether or not to receive the initial injection. There are a number of vaccines available, so which one is the best. Apparently news indicated that certain vaccines fit people of different ages and at least one of the total available is being discontinued.
