I
went outside to take Tessa (our newly adopted puppy)out to relieve
herself. It was dark around 10pm.  As I stood looking up, I noticed
nothing was moving. Not one leaf on any tree. {Sidenote- I was in a
tornado at 12 years old that almost took my life. I remember that there
was an eerie stillness before it hit. So I always look to see if leaves
are moving when a storm is about to come to assure myself that there is
no tornado around.}
I kept staring up and I focused in on one tree that was far off from me and wait yes the leaves were gently moving. Whew.
I looked at another and another and saw movement of the leaves. That is
when I heard God's still small voice. Hey it wasn't me, I was to busy
being a weather analyst.

ALL THESE TREES REPRESENT PARTS OF YOUR
LIFE- FAMILY, HEALTH, JOB, FINANCES, MARRIAGE, GOALS, ETC. YOU HAVE
BEEN LOOKING AT YOUR LIFE AS YOU DID WHEN YOU NOTICED ALL THE TREES
"NOT" MOVING. YOU FEEL LIKE THERE IS NOTHING CHANGING, GROWING,
"MOVING". BUT IF YOU WOULD OBSERVE EACH AREA BY ITSELF, YOU WILL SEE
"MOVEMENT". YOU WILL SEE ME.

Just then I heard the wind blowing
thru the leaves of "a" tree and the leaves really began to rustle. But
then a ripple occured. I know, I know, wind blowing thru the trees, so
what. But literally, one by one the leaves of other trees began to
rustle, but it wasn't how we picture wind going in one direction. You
see friend, all around me as I continued gazing upward and listening
intently, a musical masterpiece was being made right before my eyes.  A
symphony of the Wind whispering thru the leaves and the resulting
harmony that resulted gave me a Peace and Joy that was so calming. Again I heard,

JUST AS THE WIND IS STIRRING AMONGST THE TREES, AWAKENING THE LEAVES TO DO THEIR PART, SO THE HOLY SPIRIT  MOVES AND BRINGS HARMONY TO EVERY FACET OF YOUR LIFE.

YOU
DO NOT SEE THE WIND, BUT THE LEAVES DANCING AND SINGING ARE YOUR
EVIDENCE OF THE WIND YOU CANNOT SEE. I AM LIKE THE WIND. YOU CANNOT SEE
ME WHEN YOU LOOK AT YOUR LIFE AS ONE HUGE TOWERING, NOT MOVING "BUNCH OF
TREES" THAT SEEM UNTOUCHABLE. BUT WHEN YOU REALIZE EACH AREA DOES HAVE
LIFE AND MOVEMENT, EACH SEGMENT OF YOUR LIFE HAS ME. IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, I AM THERE MOVING AND BRINGING CHANGE,

So friends, do not be overwhelmed with the issues of life and feel like nothing is changing or that a storm is looming around every corner. Rather I challenge you to view every portion of your life as an instrument that you choose to play well. You do not see God physically, but you know He is there because with purposeful intent you Choose to see HIS Works and hear HIS Sound.

For example, You are exhausted. You go to work
daily like a robot depressed that you are pulled from your time at home
with family. Your marriage is not getting the attention it should. Debt increasing and salary decreasing. Drama and issues surround you.
You are standing back looking at it all thinking nothing is going right in my life, nothing is changing, no "movement" forward.

but

Look closely.......God truly is anywhere that you can be Thankful. Anytime there is Peace and Joy, GOD is THERE.
Remember
you cannot see HIM, but just as you can see the rustling of the leaves
and know the Wind is moving them, so you can KNOW GOD is quickening change to occur in your life.

{before we move forward, do you understand that in all of this, it was my VIEWPOINT. How I looked at the trees one way and saw nothing moving changed when I shifted my Focus, I Saw God.}

So you are exhausted. Do you have a bed to lie down in with a roof over your head? God.....
So you go to work like a robot. Do you have a job? God.......
You are away from your kids and spouse. Do you get to come home every night to them? God......
Marriage, debt, salary, PUT THE "BUT I AM THANKFUL FOR" AT THE START OF YOUR TROUBLES.
now you try...

Hold on Michelle, you left us the hard part. Debt has nothing positive about it, actually it does. It is all how you SEE.
The debt, decreased salary, drama, etc. are ALL Opportunities To TRUST GOD for His Help, His Way Out, His Wisdom.

your life as a wonderfully made symphony with you having the Choice on
how you will play each instrument and WHO you will Choose to be your
Teacher, Your Guide, Your Game Changer, Your Peace Igniter, Your Joy
Deliverer.
