But instead of complaining about my circumstances, I made to the decision to invest in personal development. I couldn't do what I'm doing now because I didn't know what I was suppose to focus on.
I used to focus on becoming a product expert. That was not the right focus. I learned that there are lots of people who know all about the product and services yet weren't making money.
The company's I marketed for didn't need to have another product expert. What they are paying me for is getting the material to as many people as possible and helping them to make an intelligent decision. That is the main thing.
I order to do that I found that I had to focus on building more contacts (making a list). Nurturing and developing those contacts (follow up). Exposing and presenting to those contact. Finally, closing those contacts.
